Each day I learn more and more about myself, my government and people in general. I can’t get over how illogical people can be-and then defend their illogic. Before I forget I want to thank you for the lessons in negotiations.
My letters are aiming for how we will repair the civil disturbance in our social fabric. This segues into my question for today. My concern now centers on the media.
I have an undergraduate degree in journalism and worked as a journalist for a small newspaper. I left because there was no money in that field.
When I watch the active participation of the news media in this coup attempt, I wonder about how they get punished. And they must be punished. You and I know that the talking heads and the writers are taking orders from someone above.
The highly paid media personalities can be blackballed. But the agency heads need to be severely punished for the lies they told. The propaganda I can handle. The overt lies need some redress.
How do you prove the libel that can be linked to the oweners of theses media outlets?
