Letter to the President 22

Dear Mr. President,

These are confusing times.  One cannot believe the media. The media is colluding to bring down the government.  I can see it.  Only those blinded by immorality cannot. Sad to say there are many of those around.

I am proud to be an American.  Our country has many sins.  I see that now.  Sadly I did not see them when it mattered.  Regardless I don’t know if I would have stood up to those who had the power.

I have come to earn much about my country, myself and the evil n the world. I have changed my opinions on many issues.  I have changed my beliefs as well.  The operative word is change.  I now know I can change.  Much more than adjust.  Actual change.

One of the tenets I respected about America was its ability to allow free speech.  I see it is disappearing and I don’t see the righteous indignatio that I expected.  This indignation is the prelude to a revolution against those who foment this abuse.

Another tenet I admired, possibly a fear, is that I could not be put in jail unjustly for a lesser crime. To that end I am deeply troubled with an American citizen, Paul Manaforte, being imprisoned for an age old crime that clearly is political.  I don’t have to agree with the charge but the charge should be handled by the IRS that would not put one in solitary confinement.

Where are you on this matter?

As always,

M
